Someone I
admire in my field is the great Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. He wasn´t just an Architect, he was an interior
designer, writer and educator too. He was born in 1867, in the farming town of Richland Center, Wisconsin, United States, in 1867. He was
admitted to the University of Winsconsin-Madison as a special student in 1886. In
1887, Wright left the school without taking a degree (although he was granted
an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from the University in 1955) and arrived in
Chicago in search of employment.
During the 20s and 30s Wright's Organic style had
fully matured with one of my favorite Houses design. The design of Fallingwater. It was designed according to Wright's desire to place the occupants
close to the natural surroundings, with a stream and waterfall running under
part of the building, it´s just amazing the things that an Architect can do.
Wright is responsible for a series of new concepts and
suburban development. For this reasons Frank Lloyd is the person I admire, and
I hope one day be like him.
Even I've heard of him. I didn't realize he was so old!
